When Can You Start

Malaysia Student Visa Requirements
The Student Pass lets international students live and study full-time in Malaysia at an EMGS-registered institution, with limited part-time work allowed during official semester breaks. The requirements for the student visa are as below:

Graduate from an EMGS-approved institution
Complete a bachelor's degree or higher at a public or private Malaysian university approved by EMGS, holding a valid Student Pass.
Apply before your student pass expires
Submit your Graduate Pass application while your Student Pass is still valid. Applications made after it expires aren't accepted.
Live in Malaysia for up to 12 months
Stay for up to 12 months, non-renewable, to search for a job, intern, or explore opportunities while the pass is active.
Build your career toward an Employment Pass
Use the Graduate Pass to secure a job offer and employer sponsorship to move onto a longer-term Employment Pass.
